SQUARE ENIX, a Japanese company, has announced the latest product from its 6-inch action figure series 'BRING ARTS': "Clive Rosfield" from their RPG masterpiece "FINAL FANTASY XVI", scheduled for release in March 2024.
Clive Rosfield, the protagonist of "FINAL FANTASY XVI", was originally the First Prince of the Grand Duchy of Rosaria. Since it was his physically weaker younger brother, Joshua, who became the Dominant of the Eikon "Phoenix" and not himself, he diligently honed his swordsmanship from a young age, vowing to be his brother's shield. However, one day, the Grand Duchy of Rosaria was infiltrated and attacked by the Holy Empire of Sanbreque, leading to its tragic downfall. Joshua, who had manifested as the Phoenix, was defeated before Clive's eyes by the mysterious Eikon "Ifrit". Thirteen years later, the surviving Clive became a slave-mercenary for Sanbreque, but the flames of vengeance in his heart never extinguished.
The "BRING ARTS Clive Rosfield" figure is crafted with an articulated design, standing approximately 15.5cm tall, bringing Clive's youthful appearance to life. It meticulously sculpts the sharp edges and intricate carvings of his full jet-black armor, and uses rich paintwork to depict the various metal ornaments on his body, the magnificent blade of his sword, and the melancholic facial expression, stubble, and Dominant's tattoo on his left cheek. The sword accessories include three pairs of different posed hands, a short sword, and a greatsword that can be stored in the back scabbard, allowing for the recreation of his cool battle poses from the game!
