Japan's SQUARE ENIX recently showcased a painted prototype of "Ifrit," the latest product from their RPG masterpiece "FINAL FANTASY XVI," joining their 6-inch action figure series, "BRING ARTS." The release date is yet to be determined.

The flame demon Ifrit, who has appeared throughout the FINAL FANTASY series, is, in this title, the second Fire Eikon, besides Phoenix, that should not exist among the nations. It suddenly appeared in flames during the Phoenix Gate tragedy 13 years before the story's beginning, killing the Eikon Phoenix, which was manifested by the protagonist Clive's younger brother Joshua. This ignited a burning desire for revenge in Clive's heart, setting him on a path of vengeance.

The "BRING ARTS Ifrit" is significantly larger than typical 16 cm character figures. It meticulously recreates the powerful physique designed by Kazuya Takahashi, crafting a fierce and cool, elongated body reminiscent of a giant monster, complete with massive horns on its head and sharp armor plating covering its entire form. Its fur and flames are rendered with translucent parts to convey a blazing, burning texture. The overall articulation design is not yet clear; currently, only some part divisions and movable joints are visible on its limbs.
