Issued by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., the 'METAL ROBOT Damashii' series, which combines metallic texture coating and an alloy frame, today announced that following "Gundam AGE-FX", the second installment, "Gundam AGE-2 Dark Hound", is currently in development. The release date is yet to be determined.
The AGE-2DH Gundam AGE-2 Dark Hound is the mobile suit utilized by Asemu Asuno after he became Captain Ash, the leader of the space pirates Bisidian. This unit was repaired from a severely damaged Gundam AGE-2, and its exterior was not only repainted in jet black but also features pirate characteristics such as a captain's hat and hook arms. For the purpose of Bisidian's plundering of resources, this unit is equipped with numerous armaments suitable for raids and captures, including the "Dods Lancer" for suppression and the "Anchor Shot" which can release powerful electric currents. In its Flight Mode, it possesses "Hyper Boosters" capable of towing multiple wingmen for emergency escape.
Currently, only a silhouette of the "METAL ROBOT Damashii Gundam AGE-2 Dark Hound" has been revealed, and all related product information is yet to be announced.
