Issued by Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., the toy series 'COMPLETE STYLE GIGANTIC', which recreates the armaments of Japanese tokusatsu heroes with in-show styling and rich sound and light effects, recently announced the latest product from 'Kamen Rider KIVA', the "Emperor Sword Zanvat Sword", scheduled for release in August 2024.
The Emperor Sword "Zanvat Sword" is the strongest sword created specifically for the Fangire Emperor. However, due to its nature of continuously draining the wielder's life energy, it is known as a "demonic sword". Aside from those qualified to become the Fangire King, ordinary individuals who use it will fall into an uncontrollable berserk state. When the protagonist Wataru Kurenai first obtained this sword, although he was qualified, he could not wield it. It was only after relying on the power of his three servants, Jiro, Ramon, and Riki, who transformed into the familiar "Zanvat Bat" on the sword's hilt, that KIVA's imperial power was successfully infused to neutralize the sword's inherent magic, making it Wataru Kurenai's exclusive weapon.
The "CSG Emperor Sword Zanvat Sword" boasts an impressive length of approximately 93 cm, providing a substantial feel akin to the in-show prop when wielded by an adult male. The overall design faithfully recreates the prop used for filming, utilizing ABS and aluminum alloy parts to meticulously reproduce the ornate carvings on the blade, the head of the Zanvat Bat, its left eye scar, and wings. It is finished with luxurious gold, silver, and metallic red paint, conveying a weighty, metallic texture.
The Zanvat Bat is detachable, just like its in-show counterpart. In addition to recreating the sword-grinding action, it can also be completely removed to display the Emperor Sword in its initial state. Furthermore, the sword body is equipped with rich sound and light effects, including a variety of slashing, grinding, and berserk sound effects. When the special move "Ultimate Zanvat Slash" sound effect is activated, the LED lights embedded within the blade will illuminate red, recreating the cool in-show performance!
