Fukuya "Mirmo de Pon! Spirit Mug Charm" Gashapon: Bring Home a Mug, Make a Wish, and Meet Your Own Spirit Partner!

Japanese brand Fukuya, known for producing numerous anime merchandise, has launched a new product based on the anime "Mirmo de Pon!" — the "Mirmo de Pon! Spirit Mug Charm" Gashapon. The suggested retail price is 300 JPY per capsule, with an estimated release in July 2024!

"Mirmo de Pon!" (ミルモでポン!) is a manga series created by Hiroshi Shinozuka. In 2002, it was adapted into a TV anime by Studio Hibari. The story follows the protagonist, Kaede Minami, who, on her way home from school, buys a spirit mug from a magic shop. Following the instructions at the bottom of the mug, she summons Mirmo, a spirit who had hidden inside the mug to escape his fiancée Rirumu. Subsequently, her classmates also purchase spirit mugs from the same peculiar magic shop, summoning and meeting their own spirit partners, thus embarking on a fantastical daily life with the magical spirits.

This "Mirmo de Pon! Spirit Mug Charm" Gashapon features the spirit mugs of several spirit characters from the series, crafted into three-dimensional charms approximately 3 cm tall. The collection includes five designs: Mirmo, Rirumu, Yashichi, Murumo, and Papi. Each mug's original color scheme is faithfully reproduced, and they are adorned with the classic star emblem, allowing all toy enthusiasts to encounter their very own spirit partner through these gashapon!
