Bandai's GASHAPON division has launched a new product based on the anime "Mirmo de Pon!" – the "Mirmo de Pon! Character Stationery Clips" gashapon. The suggested retail price is 300 JPY per capsule, with an anticipated release in the fourth week of August 2024!
"Mirmo de Pon!" (ミルモでポン!) is a manga series created by Hiromu Shinozuka. In 2002, it was adapted into a TV anime by Studio Hibari. The story follows the protagonist, Kaede Minami, who, on her way home from school, buys a magical mug from a magic shop. Following the instructions at the bottom of the mug, she summons Mirmo, a fairy who had hidden inside the mug to escape his fiancée, Rirumu. Subsequently, her classmates also purchase fairy mugs from the peculiar magic shop, summoning and meeting their own fairy partners, thus embarking on a fantastical daily life with the magical fairies.
This "Mirmo de Pon! Character Stationery Clips" product features the main characters from the series peeking out from their respective fairy mugs, transformed into charming stationery clips. The collection includes five designs: Mirmo, Rirumu, Yashichi, Murumo, and Papi. Each fairy displays an expression true to their personality, and their representative symbols are printed on the mugs. They are incredibly cute, whether used as office supplies or clipped onto a bag as an accessory!
