SQUARE ENIX Japan's 6-inch action figure series, BRING ARTS, recently announced the release of its latest product, Rude, from the classic PlayStation RPG FINAL FANTASY VII, scheduled for May 2025.

Rude is a member of the Turks, an elite special operations unit within the Shinra Electric Power Company, responsible for espionage, kidnapping, assassination, and other covert operations. He often operates alongside his partner, Reno, and is skilled in martial arts such as hand-to-hand combat and ki techniques. Though usually quiet and reserved, Rude is serious and always considers his comrades. He seems unusually attached to his sunglasses, always having a spare pair ready even if they get broken. He secretly harbors a deep admiration for Tifa, who is also a martial artist.

The BRING ARTS Rude figure is based on the design illustrated by designer Tetsuya Nomura for the 1997 PlayStation release. Standing approximately 16 cm tall, this articulated figure faithfully recreates his muscular physique in a suit, along with his signature bald head and sunglasses. Accessories include two pairs of interchangeable hands, allowing for dynamic martial arts combat poses. Furthermore, a dedicated part allows for recreating his iconic pose with his right hand in his pocket.
